Tammy Chaimov is an Associate of 360˚Osteo.
She is a highly trained and skilled specialist consultant in myofunctional therapy, working as a Team Specialist to help bring relief to patients who have pain and dysfunction related to TMJ, headaches, and hypermobility in the jaw.
She works in collaboration with Dr. Cheriyan to evaluate and develop individualized exercise programs to create stabilization of muscles related to TMJ dysfunction and headaches.
Tammy is a New York State Licensed and ASHA Certified Speech Language Pathologist who has received special training in Orofacial Myology and Buteyko Breathing.
Dr. Cheriyan and Ms. Chaimov met through a holistic dentist where they discovered a shared interest in myofunctional therapy and how it correlates with pain. This led to an exploration of ways in which hypermobility might or might not be involved as a cause of pain and dysfunction.
With her assistance, 360˚Osteo continues its mission to expand services to treat the whole patient.
